So when 'Big Brother' contestant Jeff found out yesterday that the Hogwarts headmaster was gay, his shocked, homophobic reaction was surprising. Entertainment Weekly reports that the houseguest noted Dumbledore "doesn't have any gay tendencies" before exclaiming, "He's in school with little kids; you don't want to make that guy gay."
Jeff further dug himself into that giant crater of his by clarifying, "I don't think it's the right thing to have a kids' book, and to have the headmaster that's locked away in this magical land, to be gay. That isn't the right kind of writing to do." Oy.
According to Reality Blurred, this isn't Jeff's first time exhibiting homophobic behavior. During his first 'Big Brother' season, he used gay slurs when talking about some of his housemates.
Over on TLC, Vulture reports that veteran tattoo artists are none too pleased that the network that airs 'Miami Ink,' 'LA Ink' and 'NY Ink' will run a special tomorrow featuring amateurs who learn the art in a two-week bootcamp called 'Tattoo School,' considering legit artists spend years learning the trade.
"TLC has had a history of showing a number of different aspects of the tattoo community. While this method is considered controversial by some tattoo artists, including some on our air, it does exist and we chose to document it. People can come to their own conclusions," a spokesperson told Vulture.
And in the world of the completely predictable, E! brings us the news that '16 and Pregnant' troublemaker Aubrey Wolters was arrested last year for shoplifting at a Walmart. She had her infant son with her, along with some pills she didn't have a prescription for. Shocking.
