Best known as “Tim the Tool Man” from the long-running sitcom Home Improvement, Tim Allen is 58 today. Tim started his career in show biz when a friend dared him to do a stand-up routine at a Detrioit club, and that led to roles on local TV. Since then, he's been “to infinity and beyond” as the star of several feature films as well as being host for the 8th annual TV Land Awards in 2010. Tim's new series, Last Man Standing, will debut on ABC this fall.
