TNT is developing 11 new series, including seven scripted shows and four unscripted projects, the network announced Wednesday.

King and Maxwell follows Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, two popular characters by best-selling author David Baldacci, who will serve as a consultant on the show. King and Maxwell are private investigators who were also former secret service agents.

Another best-selling author — Tom Clancy — will executive-produce Tom Clancy's Homeland Security, a procedural about a team of domestic intelligence operatives.

Other scripted series include The Last Ship, set to be directed by Michael Bay (Transformers), about the crew of a naval destroyer; Legends, which follows an undercover operative who transforms himself based on each job; and Lew Archer, from The Closer creator James Duff, about "the original P.I."

Two untitled projects in development: a drama that dissects a single murder case throughout the season, written and executive-produced by Steven Bocho, and a family drama from Ron Shelton about a disgraced football coach in Los Angeles.

Matthew McConaughey and Nigel Lythgoe will executive-produce the competition series American Troubadours, which seeks to find the best "unsigned bar band in America."

The network also has three docu-series in the works: Cold Justice, which follows a former prosecutor and crime scene investigator as they crack cold cases; Rivals, which explores the glamorous world of thoroughbred horse racing; and 24/7: Los Angeles, about the men and women who protect the streets of L.A.
