LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - First, TLC saved "Who Do You Think You Are?" from cancelation over at NBC and now it's giving it another year.

The cable channel announced that it will be giving the genealogical docu-series a 10-episode second season on the network and a fifth season overall, which will air in 2014.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" has averaged 1.8 million total viewers per episode this season, which featured Christina Applegate, Kelly Clarkson, Cindy Crawford, Zooey Deschanel, Chelsea Handler, Chris O'Donnell, and Trisha Yearwood.

"The Big Bang Theory's" Jim Parsons appears on Tuesday's episode at 9/8c.

Produced by Shed Media U.S. and Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky's Is or Isn't Entertainment, "Who Do You Think You Are?" investigates the hidden backstories of its celebrities' family lineage.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" aired for three seasons on NBC before the network canceled it in May 2012. Martin Sheen, Rob Lowe, Blair Underwood, Sarah Jessica Parker and Paula Deen are among those who appeared on the show's NBC run.
