How do you follow up a great guest arc on 'United States of Tara'? If you're Eddie Izzard, you appear on 'The Good Wife.'
According to TV Guide, Izzard will play Abbot Thrush, an upper-class English barrister -- a type of lawyer -- who goes against Lockhart/Gardner in a case that ends up in British court.
"Eddie Izzard has the one thing we're always looking for: enormous talent with both comedy and drama," Robert and Michelle King, co-creators and executive producers of 'The Good Wife,' said.
Izzard is only booked for one episode, but the door is open for his return.
'The Good Wife' Season 3 already has an impressive guest cast with 'House' actress Lisa Edelstein and new 'Law & Order: SVU' star Kelli Giddish signed to appear.
'The Good Wife' returns on Sun., Sept. 25 at 9PM on CBS.
