Stephen Collins is heading back to Shondaland.

The 7th Heavenstar, who previously portrayed Addison's father on Private Practice, will guest-star as a reporter on Scandal, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The actor, whose credits include No Ordinary Familyand an upcoming stint on Falling Skies, first teased the news on Twitter.

Scandal, which recently got picked up for a full season, airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
