The Beehive will be the subject of 'Big Hair Alaska,' a two-part special on TLC. Here's how the network describes the series:

"This special goes inside a busy hair salon is Wasilla, AK, where the personalities of the owner and her staff are as big as the hairstyles they create."

The Beehive is known for giving the former Alaskan governor her famous up-do hairstyle.

According to MSNBC, Beehive owner Jessica Steele confirmed the news on Facebook.

"TLC just announced their fall lineup, and we are on it!!!! Our show is called Big Hair Alaska!!!! Omg!!! It's really happening!!!! :)," the Facebook posting read.

TLC is the network home to Palin's reality series 'Sarah Palin's Alaska.'No word on whether the Tea Party lightning rod will appear on the reality special.

'Big Hair Alaska' is scheduled to air on Sept. 20.
