Daniele Donate, 'Big Brother' After her plan to backdoor Jeff out of the 'Big Brother' (Fri., 8PM ET on CBS) house blew up in her face and saw her closest ally eliminated from the game, Daniele's back was against the wall. Daniele Donate, 'Big Brother' After her plan to backdoor Jeff out of the 'Big Brother' (Fri., 8PM ET on CBS) house blew up in her face and saw her closest ally eliminated from the game, Daniele's back was against the wall. Probably more than anybody in the house, except maybe for Kalia, she needed to win that HOH competition. So how did it turn out?

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

The first five contestants to fall off the wall had to choose a snowball from a nearby table. One of them contained $10,000, which means a nice consolation prize for coming in last. For the power couples, it was essential that they outlast the newbies, or at least Kalia and Daniele.

Three of the snowballs had "Have-Not" tickets in them, which ironically split the power couples up, sending Brendon and Jordan to the Have-Not room alongside Lawon. Adam's snowball put him in an elf suit for the week, which he rocked out in good spirits. Jeff took home the $10,000, which was a nice consolation for Jordan.

If Shelly was trying to play both sides, the constant cheering for her from the power couples after they dropped off the wall probably wasn't helping her case. She was their last hope against both Kalia and Daniele, and she couldn't pull it off. Finally, Kalia basically dropped off and gave it to Daniele. They really only have each other right now, so why not.

I love watching Rachel when she's not in power because she becomes such a petulant child. She lashes out and then acts like the victim, as she did when Kalia tried to patch things over. To make matters worse for her, she had to go suck up to Daniele in her HOH room in hopes of not getting nominated.

It didn't work. Daniele did what was probably the smartest thing in the house. She put up both Rachel and Brendon, at least assuring that one of them would stay on the block no matter who wins Power of Veto (we know some of you already know this, but be kind to those who only watch the show on CBS).

Rachel and Brendon together are both dangerous, as they are very strong in challenges, and disruptive because of the way they carry on around the house. Without them there, Jeff and Jordan will probably be easier to play with. Hell, Brendon might be easier to play with if he didn't have to stroke her fragile ego and assuage her emotions all the time.

With Rachel out of the house, he'd have to control his own temper and do a lot of damage control to ensure they still had a chance of winning the season. Are you glad to see Brendon and Rachel put on the block. If you had the choice to veto one of them, who would you send to safety, and who would you replace them with?
