Season 1 winners Samantha Woods and Mike Spiro are still in a relationship, according to NBC. Runners-up Heather Pond and Miles Haefner are also still romantically involved. During the first season, the show averaged 5.5 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
"The success of the relationships formed on the first season of this series is a testament to the unique format of this show," Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC, said in a statement. "We look forward to an even more compelling season as the series will return with new format twists and a new set of contestants who will conquer the wild -- or not -- to find love."
The reality series puts single men and women in pairs and tasks them with completing rigorous tasks. Once the couples have completed the challenge, they must reveal whether they formed a bond or want to switch partners. Two singles are sent home each week.
