LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Marie Osmond's Hallmark Channel talk show, "Marie," has been canceled, the channel announced on Tuesday. Hallmark decided not to renew it for a second season saying in a statement that it was transitioning to a "much more diversified portfolio of family friendly entertainment" and "as the network examined and explored its work in daytime, we determined that the best direction for this daypart is to offer quintessential lifestyle service shows."
All is not lost for "Marie" fans, however; there are at least a few more new episodes coming up on Hallmark (next week's guests include Buzz Aldrin, Ricky Schroder and Judy Blume) and the channel added that "her passion to create an offering of such high quality will find great success in syndication."
"Marie" premiered on October 1, 2012.
