Despite rumors, blog posts and quotes about departing stars, Lorne Michaels said '30 Rock' won't be going anywhere after Season 6.
Series stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are contracted through the end of this upcoming season and despite published reports, Michaels, an executive producer on the series, told Vulture he can't imagine Season 6 will be the last for '30 Rock.'
"I can't imagine doing the show without Alec, but I couldn't imagine doing ['Saturday Night Live'] without Chevy," Michaels told Vulture. "And we're still on the air."
Despite her recent best-selling memoir and film roles, Michaels asserted Fey is committed to the series.
"It's got a lot of life and vitality and we all want to keep it going," he said.
'30 Rock' is being held for a mid-season premiere to accommodate Fey and her pregnancy.
