Jane Wagner and Lily Tomlin
The couple wed in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. "They're very happy," a rep for Tomlin told the magazine.
In August, Tomlin said they were mulling getting married after the Supreme Court ruled against the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8, which secures federal benefits for gay married couples and cleared the way for same-sex marriages in California.
"We're thinking maybe we'll get married," Tomlin said at the time. "You don't really need to get married, but marriage is awfully nice. Everybody I know who got married, they say it really makes a difference. They feel very, very happy about it."
Tomlin, 74, and Wagner, 78, have collaborated several times during their relationship, including Tomlin's one-woman show The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, and the film The Incredible Shrinking Woman, both of white Wagner wrote.
Tomlin most recently appeared in Web Therapy.
