Cuoco confirmed the news on Twitter: "Well, it's official. Yours truly is hosting the Teen Choice Awards. Woop woop!"

OneRepublic and Selena Gomez & the Scene will perform at the 13th annual ceremony, which will be aired live on Fox.

Teen Choice 2011 also unveiled the nominees for its new and final voting category of the summer: "Choice Vampire."

The nominees in the new -- and no doubt, hotly contested -- category are 'The Vampire Diaries' trio of Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, 'True Blood' hottie Alexander Skarsgard, and 'Twilight' stars Robert Pattinson and Nikki Reed.

A host of celebrities are scheduled to make appearances, including Justin Bieber, Cameron Diaz, Chris Hemsworth, a clutch of Kardashians, Ed Helms, Lucy Hale, Shaun White, Rose Byrne, Tom Felton, Kat Graham and Shane West.

Fans can vote online for their favorite nominees until Friday, Aug. 5.
