The Invasion's David Kajganich will write and executive-produce alongside Hairspray's Adam Shankman, who will also direct. Ronnie Lorenzo, one of the original owners of New York's Stonewall Inn — the tavern at the center of the Stonewall riots that inspired the fight for LGBT equality — will serve as a consulting producer.
