Next week marks the premieres of Syfy's summer programming, including its new series 'Alphas.' The show follows an elite (and eclectic) group of people with heightened abilities -- one can purposefully activate his fight-or-flight response, another can willfully enhance one of her senses (at the expense of the others), another can see radio and TV signals -- who band together to fight bad guys.
