Rachel Harley, April Francis and Libby Lopez
CBS is jumping into the dating pool this summer with the new reality series 3, chronicling the journey of three strangers trying to find true love while supporting each other emotionally through the decision-making process. They will get to choose from almost 100 men before narrowing down their selections. The three lucky ladies are:
April Francis (29), an entrepreneur originally from Michigan running three businesses in Chicago: a fashion service, a market combining food and fashion, and consulting for high-end spas. While career oriented, she describes herself as "maternalist" and is ready to settle down to start a family.
Rachel Harley (34), a mother of two who works at a Chicago-area pharmaceutical company. Harley lost her husband Kit to brain cancer in 2010, and has since become an organizer for Harley Helping Hands, a non-profit that has helped raise over $250,000 for people battling brain cancer.
Libby Lopez (24), a model who grew up tending and showing cattle on a ranch in Stockton, Calif. Raised as a Baptist, she notes God is a huge priority in her life and will not date a man unless he shares her beliefs.
The network also announced 26-year-old newcomer Alex Miranda will serve as host.
3 is adapted from the hit Israeli series Shalosh and premieres with a special 90 minute episode on Sunday, July 22 at 9/8c.
