According to TheWrap, Jack Manigault was murdered in what's being described as a "deadly lover's quarrel." Manigault was shot in the head on Sun., Oct. 9 in Youngstown, Ohio. The police report says Manigault was asleep with his girlfriend when her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Marco Cardenas, entered the house.
TheWrap reports Cardenas went past two minors in the home and entered Manigault's bedroom. Then, shots were fired and Manigault ran from the room and collapsed from a gunshot wound to the head. The two youths then forced Cardenas out of the home. Cardenas has since been arrested and arraigned on charges of murder, felonious assault and aggravated burglary. He's being held on a $5 million bond and entered a not-guilty plea.
In 1999 Manigault was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison for an aggravated assault charge. In 2003, he was convicted of obstructing official business, arrested on charges of drug procession, carrying a concealed weapon and illegal possession of a weapon.
