'Big Brother 13' premiered just last night, and already, one of the show's most polarizing players has left the house.
CBS has just announced that 'Evel' Dick Donato -- the love-him-or-hate-him winner of Season 8's $500,000 prize who returned for this season as a dynamic duo with his estranged daughter Daniele -- has left the building.
During the premiere, Donato promised to keep things in the house "interesting" but, as seen on Showtime's 'BB: After Dark' feed, he disappeared into the Diary Room and never came back out. His daughter Daniele seemed concerned, but his whereabouts were still a giant question mark.
Now we have an answer ... sort of. Here's the statement from CBS:
"Due to a personal matter, 'Big Brother' houseguest Dick Donato had to leave the game unexpectedly on Thursday. His departure will be addressed on the episode to be broadcast on Wednesday, July 13."
The CBS summer hit returned for another season of strong ratings, winning in total viewers Thursday night with 7.7 million, up from last year's premiere.
Will you miss Evel Dick? Will his departure make this season better or worse?
