A cute fan-made image of a Ron Swanson-inspired Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor has been floating around the Internet for the last week, much to the delight of everybody here at AOL TV. But, things got real when Ben & Jerry's took note.
Taken from a line in a 'Parks and Recreation Season 3 episode where Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) demands all the bacon and eggs a diner has, the fictional ice cream is scotch-flavored and called "All the Bacon and Eggs You Have." Sounds ... perfect? Gross? Amazing? Too hard to say, really.
The fine folks and Ben & Jerry's took notice of the exceptional fan-crafted ice cream carton art and said this in a statement to NBC:
"We're thrilled that a passionate and dedicated Pawnee city government employee like Ron Swanson (who is a shotgun of humor to the funny bone) is getting his just desserts."
"Ron's beliefs are in accordance with those of Ben & Jerry's -- where two scoops of government can help the less fortunate and truly be a servant to the community and its citizens. Finally, for Ron's sake, we're happy that the recipe is almond-less; and we're thankful that the flavor did not include a turkey leg."
This isn't the first time Ron Swanson's food creations and brought them to semi-life. Jimmy Fallon had Nick Offerman eat a Ron Swanson turkey burger, a deep-fried turkey leg inside a giant beef patty.
