Anderson Cooper's Daytime Talk Show Canceled

The current second season of Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show Anderson Live  will be its last.

The show has been canceled after two seasons and will end next summer, according to The New York Times. A Warner Brothers executive told the paper the studio had declined to renew the series for a third season due to disappointing ratings.

The show had undergone a makeover prior to its current season, debuting a new set and a new format that included rotating guest hosts alongside Cooper, and filming in front of a live audience. It also changed its name from Andersonto Anderson Live. But the changes weren't enough to move the needle.

"We are extremely proud of Anderson and the show that he and the entire production team have produced," Warner Brothers said in a statement Monday. "While we made significant changes to the format, set and produced it live in its second season, the series will not be coming back for a third season in a marketplace that has become increasingly difficult to break through."

Are you sad to see Cooper's talk show end?
