Date March 12, 2012

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - On a Sunday night that saw television usage decline more than 7 percent across the board, ABC's "Once Upon a Time" shared the top ratings spot with CBS' "Amazing Race" and Fox's "Family Guy" despite hitting a series low, while ABC pulled an overall ratings win for the evening, according to preliminary numbers.

ABC came in first in the key adults 18-49 demographic with an average 2.3/6 and second in total viewers with an average 7.8 million. The network began the night with "America's Funniest Home Videos" at 7, which fell 41 percent in the demographic compared to last week with a 1.3/4 and 6.5 million total viewers. "Once Upon a Time" the following hour dropped 18 percent compared to last week, hitting a series low of 2.8/8 with 9.1 million total viewers.

Despite the death of character Mike Delfino -- which was revealed during the trial last week in Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful-termination trial -- "Desperate Housewives" at 9 remained flat with last week, receiving a 2.5/6 and 8.3 million total viewers. The network ended the night with "GCB" at 10, which crept up slightly from last week's series premiere with a 2.3/6 and 7.3 million total viewers.

CBS was second in the demo and first in total viewers with an average 2.1/6 and 10 million. "60 Minutes" at 7 received a 1.6/5 and 10.3 million total viewers. "Amazing Race" the following hour ran even with last week, taking a 2.8/8 and 9.7 million total viewers. "CSI: Miami" at 10 received a 2.1/5 and 10.5 million total viewers -- the highest total viewership of the night.

Fox came in third in the demo with an average 2.0/6 and fourth in total viewers with an average 4.3 million. Following a "Simpsons" repeat at 7, "The Cleveland Show" at 7:30 received a 1.6/5 and 3.3 million total viewers. NBC came in fourth with an average 1.5/4 and third in total viewers with an average 6.6 million. "Dateline" at 7 received a 0.9/3 and 4.7 million total viewers, while "Harry's Law," premiering in its new timeslot at 8, drew a 1.1/3 and 8.9 million total viewers.
